All of the extreme sports seem to gravitate towards Go-Pro recording devices. These devices are great for first person view and filming those action shots due to durability. But what if you want a more cinematic experience? Maybe you want an overhead view to splice into your reel.
Meet Lily.
Lily is a quad-copter style drone with a mounted camera.

Lily works by following a small gps device that can be worn or stuffed in a bag. This small “remote” has a waterproof case so you can use it while on your jet ski. Lily is waterproof herself. Lily has multiple shooting options and requires little experience to operate. It has an unfortunate battery life of about 20 minutes with a 2-hour charge time. To do all the things that Lily does on its own, it does take a lot of power.
Lily hovers anywhere from 5 ft to 50 ft over your head and is able to travel at 20mph. This is perfect for those action shots of your trip.
Lily isn’t for everyone and even less so at its price point. However, pre-order before June 15th, 2015 will get you half off at $499.
