Infinite USB is a new type of cable.

The concept is pretty simple. its a small cable design specifically for portability.  It works like any other standard USB cable with one key difference.

Infinite USB has another USB female on the other side.  This allows you to carry just the cables.  No more plugs, no more power cables, no more usb hubs.  Infinite USB only requires itself to connect your devices.

I was skeptical about how well this would work over an “infinite” number running off one port.  The company rep. that I got ahold of said:

The transfer rates won’t much be affected by how many devices  are plugged, which the power does. The device will stop working if too many devices are plugged but it highly depends on the laptop output power and what devices you plug. The max ampere is 2.4A of InfiniteUSB.

Either way, the concept is great and would definitely reduce come clutter in our lives.  Infinite USB has a magnet to connect both ends together and folds easily to be compact.
